Times are tough.  Money's tight.  It's difficult to find the extra bucks to give to those who are worse off -- those in the community who Lions help.

But what if, for example, you take the kids or grandkids to a Lions fund-raiser dinner instead of MacDonald's?  The food's better, and you'd be setting such a good example, exposing young hearts to the great joy of helping others.

Clarksburg Lions Club Elimination Dinner March 5, $25.  Tickets can be arranged via e-mail clarksburglions@gmail.com or through members. Only 200 tickets will be sold. The club has two posters from West Virginia University to be raffled off at the Elimination Dinner and the Charter Night Dinner.  One poster is signed by the basketball team and the other from the football team.  One ticket/$1.  Six tickets/$5.   Proceeds benefit the Club's Student Scholarship Program. 

Tygart Valley Lions/Rich Mountain Battlefield Annual Gun Raffle Sat, March 6, Elkins Nat'l Guard Armory. 11:30 am. $30 for Grilled Pork & Beef plus 26 guns and four $250 cash prizes  Do not have to be present to win. TENNERTON LIONS PANCAKE & SAUSAGE FEED Sat, March 6, Tennerton UM Church 6:30am - 2pm.  ADULTS $5; 6-12yrs $3; under 6 FREE. From Buckhannon: Rts 4 & 20 south 2 miles; left at School traffic light; left onto Tallmansville Rd/Rt 9; 300' to church.

BUCKHANNON LIONS SPAGHETTI FEED Sat, March 13 & March 20 First UM Church, 52 South Florida Street, Buckhannon. 11am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm. ADULTS $8; Under 12 yrs $5. Real Italian Bread served on 3/20! Parking is available behind church in lot on Meade St.

Inwood-Bunker Hill Lions 10th Annual Spring Dinner, Dance and Silent Auction  March 27 $30/person or $200/table of 8. Proceeds benefit Musselman High School scholarships.
